Flash Capture – Download Flash Content Off Any Webpage

With the Microsoft developed Internet Explorer (IE) web browser you can surf the web in search of all sorts of things. For example you could find an interesting Flash presentation, or an amusing Flash card, an addictive Flash game or an entertaining Flash video. To access all this content over and over again, you would have to fire up the browser, access the site that hosted it and then start enjoying yourself.

Or you could use a specially created software application that will download the Flash content onto your computer. The Dreamingsoft developed Flash Capture is precisely such a software application. To be more precise it is an Internet Explorer add-on that allows you to download any Flash file off a specific webpage.

Let’s say that all you want to download off the web are videos. Flash Capture provides support for the Google-owned video-sharing site YouTube, one of the most if not the most popular video sharing site out there. You can save videos from YouTube without having to copy and paste the URL.

Having a video file on your computer and not being able to view it is useless, wouldn’t you agree? You should know that you can play the Flash videos you pulled off the web with Flash Capture’s built-in player. And if you have an iPhone or iPod or another portable device, thanks to Flash Capture’s built-in converter you can turn the downloaded flash video into the proper format and play it on the mobile device.

Pros
  • Download Flash content from webpages with ease
  • Built-in video player
  • Built-in video converter
  • No need to copy and paste the URL
  • Easy to use
  • Provides YouTube support

Cons
  • Free to use only during the 7-day trial period
